In Memory of Kim Eline

The Komen Philadelphia Affiliate extends our deepest sympathies to the family and friends to Wawa employee and loyal activist in the breast cancer movement, Kimberly Eline.



"A cherished member of the Wawa family, and undoubtedly a source of inspiration for the generous support Wawa extends to The Affiliate year after year, Kim lost her long, courageous battle with breast cancer on May 17, 2011.

"Kim's brave fight against the horrible disease brings even more motivation to our mission. Her spirit lives on in the Wawa family, the Komen Philadelphia Affiliate, and all those whose lives she touched who continue to wage this fight in her memory... she has left all of us her legacy of courage, hope and compassion," said Elaine I. Grobman, Executive Director of the Komen Philadelphia Affiliate. 

Kimberly Eline (nee Miller), 50 Longtime Wawa Employee Kimberly Eline (nee Miller) born June 25, 1960 and passed away May 17, 2011 at the age of 50 after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Kim was a 1978 graduate of Sun Valley H.S. She was a dedicated employee of Wawa, Inc. for 20 years, recently with the Supply Chain division. Kim enjoyed the esteem and adoration of many friends and acquaintances at Wawa. Her family appreciates the overwhelming outpouring of affection and support expressed during her illness.

She enjoyed shopping and supporting her children's activities. She was a terrific artist, a respected coworker and a great friend. She was smart, caring and funny, and will be missed immensely. Survivors: Devoted mother of Courtney, Kayla and Scott Eline of Garnet Valley. Beloved daughter of Bob and Nancy Miller of Glen Mills. Loved and respected by her brother Rob (Tina) Miller of Aston, her sister Michele Outten and nephew Hunter Outten both of Wilmington. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to be made to the Philadelphia Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure
